Cake tastings and consultations are by appointment only at my cake studio for orders of 100 servings or more. There is a non refundable fee of $25 for two guests and $10 for each additional guest up to a maximum of four guests. You get to sample five of my most popular cake flavors and fillings. We will also discuss design, colors, flowers, flavors, delivery and pricing. You may bring inspiration pictures of other cakes to help with the design process but please note, I do not duplicate work by other cake designers.

Orders of less than 100 servings may pick up a to-go sample box at a scheduled time for a non refundable fee of $25. You get to sample five of my most popular flavors. Consultation will be done via email and phone if necessary.

If you book me within 7 days of your tasting, the $25 non refundable fee will be credited to the total cost of your order.


Bookings are recommended 6 -12 months in advance. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to confirm your booking. I do not hold dates without a 50% non-refundable retainer. Balance of your order is due 6 weeks before your wedding.


Every cake is customized to order and priced individually. The final price is based on your flavor options, number of servings and design details. A final quote will be provided after number of servings and design details have been finalized.

Buttercream cakes start at $5.50 per serving and fondant cakes start at $6.50 per serving.

There is a $500 Minimum wedding cake order and $200 Minimum celebration cake order.

There is an $80 fee for deliveries within the first 15 miles of Julie Miller Cake Design Studio and $2.50 one way for each additional mile.
Your cake will be delivered in an insulated and secure CakeSafe box to keep it protected from damage and the elements.


I have cake stands for hire to complement your wedding cake. There is a fee of $25 per stand and a refundable security deposit which equates to the cost to replace the item if lost or damaged. The security deposit will be refunded only when the stand is returned to me in its original condition four days after your event or your security deposit will be forfeited.
